Local businesses your license roll did not find, listed within 30 days
For city and county license staff: each business comes with its public record and the dated lookup that did not find it. Paid only on results; refund if you ask.
Business License Discovery Sample
25 businesses in one license category that have a public record in your jurisdiction and were not found on your public license roll or lookup. Each comes with the evidence your staff need to open the record and repeat the lookup themselves.
One per government, identified by its website domain.
A business that is not on the roll pays no license fee
Businesses that are not on your license roll pay no license tax or fee. Finding them means matching public listings, state registrations, contractor lists and permit records against your roll, name by name and address by address. Many governments do this in-house with finance staff, or pay an outside firm a share of what it collects.
The first order
We sweep your whole jurisdiction once, across every license category the public sources cover. We list each business with a public record there that your public roll or lookup did not find. We refresh it once, 6 months later. You send your own notices and collect directly. We state only what the public record shows; your staff decide each business's status from your own records and rules.
- One discovery list for your whole jurisdiction, across every license category the public sources cover, delivered once
- For each business: its name, the public record that places it in your jurisdiction (source, link, date read, and the quoted street address or work record)
- For each business: the lookup of your public roll or license lookup that did not find it (the roll file or lookup link, the date, and the names and addresses tried)
- Your roll as we read it at listing, with its date, stored and sent with the list
- One refresh 6 months later that adds new businesses on the same terms
- A quarterly reconciliation of your own receipt report against the businesses we listed, from which we compute each invoice
Start with a free discovery sample
Our free discovery sample covers one license category, chosen by us. It lists 25 businesses that have a public record in your jurisdiction and were not found on your public license roll or lookup. Each comes with its public record (source, link, date read, quoted street address or work record). It also gives the dated lookup that did not find it, with the names and addresses tried.
- It states only what the public record shows. Your staff decide each business's status from your own records and rules.
- Your government writes and sends its own notices; the sample contains no notice or letter.
- A lookup shows your public roll or lookup on the date it was read. A business may be on your records under another name or address, or no longer operating.
- It covers one license category, not your whole jurisdiction.
- One per government, identified by its website domain.

We deliver the full list
Once for your whole jurisdiction, then one refresh 6 months later. You write and send your own notices and collect directly.
We invoice from your receipt report
Each quarter you email your receipt report. We bill 35% of fees received from listed businesses, up to the cap.
Price: paid only on results
First order: 35% of the business license fees and back fees your government receives from businesses we listed
Capped at USD 4,500 in total for the first order, whenever billed
- Baseline: zero. Only businesses that were not on your roll at their listing date count; your roll as read at listing is stored and sent with the list.
- Billable result: a license fee or back fee received from a listed business, for a license account it opened after its listing date, with payment received in the 12 months after that date.
- Not ours: a line your record shows with an application, account or contact by your government before the listing date, a business already on the roll under another name or address, or a refunded payment. Your record decides.
- Your government emails its receipt report within 30 days of each quarter's end. We never access your systems.
- We invoice by email within 10 business days of each report, due on your standard terms and at most 45 days from the invoice, paid by bank transfer or cheque to Internet Physics, Inc.
- Mark any line not attributable, with one of the 3 reasons, within 30 days of the invoice, and it is removed and a corrected invoice sent.
- No minimum and no up-front fee: if no listed business pays, nothing is owed. Lines past the USD 4,500 cap are not billed.
- The first order does not renew automatically. Cancel any time by replying CANCEL; before the list is delivered nothing is owed, and after it lines from businesses already listed stay billable within their windows and the cap.
- After the first order we may offer a quarterly agreement on the same 35% rule, uncapped unless you set an annual cap, bought under your own rules.
- Refund, billing and cancellation rules in full: https://licenserollgap.com/guarantee

FAQ
You are new. Why should we rely on your list?
You do not have to take our word for it. We have no past customers to point to, so every business we list comes with its public record and the dated lookup of your roll that did not find it. Your staff can open each one and repeat it before acting.
Does the list say a business must have a license?
No. It states only what the public record shows: the business has a public record in your jurisdiction and was not found on your public roll or lookup. Your staff decide each business's status from your own records and rules.
Will you contact the businesses?
No. We never contact, notify or collect from any listed business, and we never handle your funds. Your government writes and sends its own notices and collects its own fees directly.
Do you need access to our systems or files?
No. The sample and the list come from public sources and your public roll or license lookup. Under the first order, the only thing you send us is your quarterly receipt report. We never access your tax systems or sales-tax data.
Who can accept the first order?
The official whom your posted purchasing rules let accept it alone. The first order is one purchase, capped at USD 4,500 in total. That official accepts the emailed one-page order by reply from a government address and names the address for invoices.
How are fees counted and billed?
Only from your own receipt report. Each quarter we compute 35% of the license fees and back fees received from listed businesses for accounts opened after their listing dates, and invoice it by email. Nothing is estimated, and your record decides every disputed line.
What happens after the first order?
It does not renew automatically. We may then offer a quarterly agreement on the same 35% rule. It brings a quarterly refresh and a quarterly report of listed businesses with their public contact details and license status, for renewals. It is uncapped unless you set an annual cap, and bought under your own rules.
