How our guarantees work
This page lists every guarantee License Roll Gap offers, with its conditions, together with our refund and cancellation rules. A promise that is not on this page or in your order confirmation is not a guarantee we make. No guarantee pays you more money than you paid us: a guarantee is honoured as a refund of what you paid, as credit toward our work, or as more work.
Our guarantees
Paid only on results
What we promise: The License Roll Gap first order is paid only on results. We bill only 35% of the business licence fees and back fees your government's own receipt report shows received from businesses we listed, for licence accounts opened after their listing dates, with payment received within 12 months of each listing date. If no listed business pays, nothing is owed: there is no minimum and no up-front fee.
Conditions: Your government emails its receipt report to hello@licenserollgap.com within 30 days of each quarter's end. We bill only from that report and never estimate a report we have not received.
What you get: Nothing is billed for a receipt line that is not a billable result, and nothing is owed when no listed business pays.
Time limit: Each business counts for 12 months from its listing date. The 25 businesses in your discovery sample count as listed on the date your government accepts the order. Billing ends when it reaches the USD 4,500 cap or when the last window ends.
How to claim: Nothing to claim: each invoice is computed only from your receipt report, and any line can be disputed as "Disputed lines removed" says.
Who decides: Your government's own receipt record. No other evidence is weighed.
Most you can receive: You never owe more than 35% of what your government received from listed businesses, and never more than USD 4,500 in total for the first order.
Disputed lines removed
What we promise: A receipt line your government marks not attributable, naming one of the three reasons, is removed and a corrected invoice sent. The three reasons are: an application, account or contact by your government with that business before the listing date; the business on the roll at listing under another name or address (your government names the account); or the payment refunded.
Conditions: Your government marks the line, with its reason, within 30 days of the invoice.
What you get: The marked line is removed and a corrected invoice sent.
Time limit: 30 days from the invoice.
How to claim: Reply to the invoice email, or email hello@licenserollgap.com, naming each line and its reason.
Who decides: Your government's own record. Nothing is disputed beyond it.
Most you can receive: The invoiced amount of the marked lines.
Refunds
If you ask for your money back, we first offer to credit what you paid toward a redo or another of our offers. If you still want a refund, we refund what you paid. We make that offer once and do not press it, and a refund is never more than you paid. Refunds go back by the method you paid with.
Cancellation
The License Roll Gap first order does not renew automatically. You may cancel it at any time by replying CANCEL to any email from us, or by emailing hello@licenserollgap.com with the word CANCEL; no reason is needed, and we confirm the cancellation by email. If you cancel before we deliver the discovery list, nothing is owed. If you cancel after it, we deliver nothing further, and receipt lines from businesses already listed stay billable under our terms, within their 12-month windows and the USD 4,500 cap.
Claims and requests
To claim a guarantee, ask for a refund, or cancel, email hello@licenserollgap.com or reply to any email from us. We reply by email within 2 business days, and we tell you in writing what we decided and why, naming any condition that was not met.
